School History

In 1993, Pastor Rick Brown was walking the undeveloped property of the school and church and the Lord gave him the following verse: “He turns a wilderness into pools of water, and dry land into water springs,” Psalm 107:35. The Lord spoke to Rick's heart acknowledging the spiritual desert of this community and promised to turn it into pools of water and water springs.

In the fall of 1997, Calvary Chapel Christian School of Idaho Falls started with only a handful of students. The desire of the school was to provide a Christian education for believers in the Idaho Falls community.

Twenty years after the church started, in celebration of the Lord doing a great work in the valley of Southeast Idaho, the church changed its name to Watersprings Church. Following the churches name change, Calvary Chapel Christian School changed its name to Watersprings School. Each year following 1997, the school has continued to grow and add classes, faculty, staff, amenities, and buildings as needed. The first senior class graduated in 2014.

We have a new auxiliary gym, main gym, and beautiful two-story educational wing.
