VARIABLE TUITION

We understand that a Christian education is a huge investment for our families, so we offer an affordable option; Variable Tuition. Variable Tuition is a needs-based program, allowing families to apply for reduced tuition that fits their family's unique financial situation. Our goal is to make Watersprings School affordable and accessible to most families.

FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for Watersprings Schools for the 2024-2025 school year. Families applying for Variable Tuition will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Assessment.

Once an online application has been completed, the following information will need to be sent to FACTS to complete the application process:

  • Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms, including all supporting tax schedules.
  • Copies of your most recent W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.
  • Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers' Compensation and TANF.

All supporting documentation for next school year can be uploaded in pdf format online.

Documentation can also be faxed to 866-315-9264 or mailed to the address below. Please be sure to include the application ID on all faxed or mailed correspondence.

Variable Tuition is a needs-based program similar to those used by many private schools, colleges, and universities. This program allows families to apply for reduced tuition that fits their family’s financial position. This makes a Watersprings School education affordable to many qualified students who could not otherwise join our school community.

Any family of a Kindergartener through 12th grade student may apply for Variable Tuition if they are concerned about affording the full tuition rate at Watersprings School. Watersprings School uses a 3rd party company to decide who qualifies for Variable Tuition. Many factors are used to determine the tuition amount a family is able to pay such as income, assets, unusual expenses, and the family size.

Yes. Families will have to reenroll/apply to Watersprings School. New families will have to go through the admissions process and be accepted before they apply for Variable Tuition.

Variable Tuition applications that have been verified by FACTS will be reviewed on the 2nd Monday of every month.

No. Unfortunately, the school does not have the ability to offer Variable Tuition to every student who qualifies for both admission and Variable Tuition. A student may be admitted to the school but placed on a waiting list for Variable Tuition. It is recommended that families apply for Variable Tuition as early as possible.

Multiple students are one of the key factors in determining Variable Tuition. One of the important questions asked on the confidential application relates to family size and that is factored into the Variable Tuition rate. Families are not eligible for both a multi-child discount and Variable Tuition. 

Yes. A new application must be submitted every year for Variable Tuition, however you can use the same longin as the previous year.

Yes. A family that does not qualify is welcome to reapply the following year.

No. Only families who feel that they may not be able to pay the full tuition amount should submit a Variable Tuition application.

Yes. Reenrolling students who submit a reenrollment application by May 31 will receive priority consideration.

No. Admission applications and Variable Tuition applications are evaluated separately, and applying for Variable Tuition has no bearing on the Admissions process.

Yes. For returning students the reenrollment process must be completed before the application for Variable Tuition can be considered. New families must complete the Admissions process and be accepted in order to apply for Variable Tuition.

A wide range of families with a variety of circumstances qualify for the program. Many factors are evaluated, including income, assets, unusual expenses, and the size of the family.

No. Every family is required to make a financial investment in their child’s education. Our commitment to providing Variable Tuition means that we are sharing in that investment with you.

No. The maximum class size, as determined by administration, will not be exceeded.
