Standardized Testing
Kindergarten - 7th Grade
Students in Kindergarten through 7th grade are assessed through IowaFlex, which is a K-8 online adaptive benchmark achievement assessment that tests a student’s skills in Reading and Math. IowaFlex assessments provide evidence-based measures of reading and math achievement to inform classroom instruction and measure student progress toward end-of-year mastery of core content. Students are tested three times a year on familiar skills and concepts, providing the students with confidence in their abilities as they test.
8th Grade and High School
Each year 8th grade and High School students take one or more of the following grade level assessments - PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, PSAT NMSQT, ACT and/or SAT. All tests are proctored in house at Watersprings School.
